Reliant ABA Therapy, Inc.  is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals at our Cypress clinic. Reliant is more than just a workplace; it's a community dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plan and learning programs as written and directed by BCBA/BCaBA.
  • Collect data on all behaviors targeted and skill acquisition goals.
  • Meet with supervisors as needed to analyze information gathered.
  • Ensure that documentation is completed and converted in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Communicate timely and effectively with supervisors and other members of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a registered behavior technician.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between client locations for appointments as assigned in a punctual manner.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, PRT, and other ABA
  • Maintain current CPR.
  • Working knowledge and use of data collection program tools.
  • Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office, excel, internet).

Basic Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently.
  • Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment.
  • Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing and able to “bring caring to life”, maintain enthusiasm, client engagement and utilize knowledge of ABA terms and principles when trained.
