Dr. Theresa Nalty is a highly accomplished physical therapist with over 30 years of experience helping patients improve movement, function, and quality of life. She earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University and went on to complete a Ph.D. at the University of Washington, specializing in measurement, statistics, and research design. Throughout her career, she has combined compassionate patient care with groundbreaking research, publishing extensively on rehabilitation outcomes, cancer survivorship, and orthopedic recovery.
She has held leadership roles at world-renowned institutions, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she developed innovative outcome tools to better track patient progress. Her expertise spans neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic care, aquatic therapy, and evidence-based program design, always with a focus on practical solutions that meet each patient’s unique needs. Recognized with numerous national and international awards, she has also contributed to the field through teaching, mentorship, and even securing patents for therapeutic devices.
